Friday 6th November was Inter-House Performing Arts Day at Burgess Hill School for Girls and everyone was excited!
The day before, some pupils had sold some glow sticks and everyone was waving one about; green for Yates, yellow for Milton, red for Thomas and blue for Burns.
After registration we separated into our houses and sat down to watch the plays. Almost everyone took part in at least one of the plays.
I was in Milton and I was the Burning Bush! Our theme this year was the Four Elements: fire, water, earth and air. It was hard learning my lines but in the end it was worth it! I loved being on stage.
In the end Yates house won, with Milton second, Burns third and Thomas fourth.
At the end of the day we went home tired but happy, wearing our house colours and in some cases coloured face paint!
