On March 24th Burgess Hill School for Girls took part in the U15 West Sussex Netball tournament at Sackville school.
The girls played some excellent netball throughout the day beating Ardingly College 7-1; St Paul’s Catholic College 9-1; Oakmeeds Community College 7-4; Warden Park School 8-6; Imberhorne School 11-4; Sackville 10-5; and Oathall Community School 7-4 to win the tournament.
The girls have had a difficult season due to injury, however they showed excellent team cohesion to emerge as winners.
P.E. teacher and netball coach, Miss Emma Partington, said ‘The girls were amazing and fought hard throughout the tournament; they deserved to win.’
