The Year 1 pupils at Burgess Hill School for Girls learnt about the Royal Air Force when a parent came to give a talk about her former career.
Mrs Binns brought in her uniforms for the girls to try on which they loved. The girls also learned about the different types of jobs and aircraft there are in the RAF by watching a short video.
The girls all enjoyed the talk, which was arranged to bring to life their Remembrance Day topic. Other activities included viewing a RAF uniform from the Second World War which was provided by Year 1 teacher, Glynis Riddle, whose father served in the RAF at that time.
