P.E. teachers Deleece Tapping and Suzy Clapp from Burgess Hill School for Girls completed the tough 106 mile South Downs Way Bike Ride last weekend.
There were only six cyclists completing the two day challenge, and the teachers were the only women!
68 miles were completed on the first day, in mixed weather conditions, which took just over ten and a half hours, while a further 38 miles were completed on the second day.
They raised 700 which will be donated to the Argus Appeal, a charity run by The Argus newspaper in Sussex which raises funds for a wide range of organisations and local people in need.
Suzy Clapp said "We would like to thank the dedicated team from the Argus who once again organised an excellent event."
