Burgess Hill School for Girls has had a superb season of tennis with almost all of their teams winning championship games.
The U12 and U18 tennis teams both played outstanding games at the South East Tennis Tournament in Eastbourne and emerged as Champions.
The Burgess Hill success continued on the tennis courts in the West Sussex Championship at Christ Hospital where the U14 and U15 teams each won all of their games to emerge as West Sussex first and second pair champions.
The youngest team, the U10s went to the International Tennis Centre at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne, to take part in the Sussex Schools Mini Tennis Competition.
The girls played well throughout the day, despite some blazing sunshine, and went through to the semi-final as group winners. During the semi-final stagethey met Brighton College A, and in a very close match the girls managed to progress to the final to meet the winners of the other semi-final, St Bedes.
After a long day playing tennis, and having met a very strong St Bede's team, the girls finished as the runners up.
