Burgess Hill School for Girls was well represented at the Chamber Music day held at Roedean School on Thursday 8th February. The Junior School String Quartet played Rondo from the Fairie Queen by Henry Purcell and were complimented by Adjudicator Alison Montcrieff on their polished playing and professional sense of performance. The Senior School String Quartet played the 1st Movement of the Violetta Quartet with "great rhythmic energy and effective balance", and the Wind Septet performed "Suite for Seven" by Ronald Hanmer providing an exciting and colourful start to the second half of the morning which left a warm glow despite the snow!
