On Friday 9th February, the Year 6 Netball Team from Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed a very special Coaching Session with Geva Mentor, the England and Team Bath GK/GD, who shared her expertise with the keen netballers. The girls enjoyed Geva’s coaching and general approach, and had fun whilst enhancing and practising their technique. Geva has earned 24 CAPS, and plays at Club, County, Super Cup and International level, so it was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to be coached by one of the best in the country. She was a great role model for the girls and enthused them all throughout the afternoon.
Burgess Hill School also invited three other local schools to join in the afternoon which ended with an exhibition match by the Senior Burgess Hill School for Girls team.
