“While you have been watching this play, three thousand six hundred acres of rainforest have been destroyed!” This message came across loud and clear in the most entertaining and vibrant way in the musical ‘The Ivory Forest’, performed to parents and pupils by the Year 5 Drama Club at Burgess Hill School for Girls on Thursday 1st March.
The school were delighted to have Darren Vallier, the author of the musical, in the audience. He has seen his play performed eleven times and said that the girls’ performance was “superb”.
