On Saturday 12th March the Burgess Hill School for Girls' Under 12 hockey team competed in the Mayfield 7s Hockey Tournament.
Burgess Hill began the tournament playing Mayfield and was beaten 0-1. However the whole team improved throughout the morning and went on to win against Tonbridge Grammar 1-0, St Bede's 4-1, and Moira House 4-0 to finish as the overall winners of the tournament.
The team were: Rebecca Chee, Georgina Grafin Kerssenbrock, Olivia Hibbert, Lucy Hopson, Sassa Lazarus, Johanna Lawless and Fern Miller.
