The Burgess Hill School water station was based at mile 23.5, along the coastal road in Portslade, just two and a half miles from the finish line.
The team began early in the morning preparing the drinks for the runners, and they worked hard all day handing out bottles and cheering the runners on as they went past.
Headmistress, Ann Aughwane, said "We thoroughly enjoyed being part of this awe inspiring event. The determination of the runners was amazing to see."
Two teachers from the school ran the marathon for the first time this year and were given a massive cheer as they passed the Burgess Hill water station. Reception teacher, Miss Sam Seager, and P.E. teacher, Miss Caroline Petty, both ran for Cancer Research UK, and raised over 1,100 pounds. Read their full story here.
Well done to Miss Seager and Miss Petty and everyone who helped out on the day.
