Rebecca Chee, Year 7, has acheived an impressive record in Cross Country events for the school and outside of school.
Over the winter Rebecca competed for Crawley Athletics Club in the U13 age group in a number of cross country and indoor sports hall events.
In the Sussex XC League fixtures at Plumpton in November she finished 11th place and in Lancing in February she finished 5th place.
Rebecca finished 10th place in the Sussex Cross Country Championships at Stanmer Park in January and came away with a silver team medal as one of the first three Crawley runners to finish.
At the County Athletics Indoor Sports Hall fixtures, her consistent success in the U13 6 Lap race led to her being selected as one of a team of twelve U13 girls to represent Sussex at the Regional Sports Hall finals in March.
Over the Easter holidays Rebecca competed in the Sussex Road Relay Championships at Christ's Hospital. She ran as part of the Crawley U13 girls A team with two other girls and they finished in 1st place.
Last weekend Rebecca also ran 800m in an open track event at the K2 in Crawleyand achievedan impressivetime of 2mins 39s.
Younger sister Jennifer Chee (Year 5) ran her first U11 600m at the same event and came 3rd place.
Rebecca Chee has also done well at hockey and has been chosen for the Sussex U13 hockey squad this season, along with Johanna Lawless, Year 7.
