Earlier this week Mrs Carruthers and Ms Triviere enjoyed visiting the end of course Foundation Art Exhibition at City College Brighton and Hove, part of the University of Brighton.

The exhibition included work by a number of our past pupils, Lucia Masters who left last summer, and Lauren Smith and Megan Martin who left earlier to study for degrees other subjects, but then returned to their first love, Art.

Lucia and Megan studied Fine Art, whilst Lauren focused on Illustration for her Foundation course. Pleasingly, all the girls have been successful in gaining places to study for degrees in a variety of different creative areas and in very diverse parts of the country.

Mrs. Carruthers commented, "It was wonderful to see how the girls' creativity had developed and to appreciate how they had continued to build on the skills shown in their A Level work. I am always very proud of my students, past and present, and it was a very special occasion to be invited to the exhibition to see what they had gone on to do."
