On 29th September, the Lower Sixth took part in an Independent Learning Day.
The day encouraged everyone to get involved, both independently and working together in groups. It enabled us all to develop new skills and to think laterally, something which isn't always that easy!
It included many different exercises and challenges such as a murder mystery and the day ended with a very heated debate.
Overall, the day allowed everyone, both the extravert and the more introvert, to express their opinions and thoughts, ultimately boosting everybody's confidence. It was an extremely enjoyable day which benefitted us all.
The students said:
"An amazing day"
"Inspiring; really helped me to think about things differently"
"It was an exhilarating and thought provoking experience"
