Burgess Hill School for Girls' Tennis team took part in the Sussex Shield competition. They have been in inspired form, beating Christ's Hospital School, Millais School and Towers School, Bramber in the group stage to enter the last stage of the competition held at St. Bedes School.
The girls played some excellent tennis beating St. Bedes to gain a place in the final against Hurstpierpoint College. The Burgess Hill School girls won convincingly by 3 matches to 0. The girls never lost a set during the entire tournament and won 180 games conceding only 27. A truly excellent achievement!
