This March has once again seen Burgess Hill School for Girls play host to a Creative Arts Festival. This annual event, held in liaison with Worth School, includes two plays, several concerts and an Art Exhibition.
The festival began with an evening of music by Brahms and Chopin, performed by the combined choirs of Worth School, Nottinghill and Ealing School and Burgess Hill School for Girls in Worth Abbey. Other events have included performances of Berkoff’s ‘The Trial’ and a stunning Chamber Music concert, the highlight of which was a rendition of Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet in A Major.
The festival ended with performances of Shakespeare’s ‘Merry Wives of Windsor’ and an Exhibition including Sixth Form art and photographs representing this year’s theme of ‘Absence.’
