Water, water, everywhere! This was very much the case when Burgess Hill School for Girls spent the morning kayaking as part of the ever popular Year 6 activity week in Norfolk. Conservation and environmental awareness are very much the themes during this action packed week. The girls had a wonderful time and learned a huge amount both academically and through social interaction.

Year 6 went to see the Shakespeare 4 Kidz production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to support our study of Shakespeare this term. It was excellent timing as we put on our own performance on Thursday 29th March.

Assembly for the Junior School was rather high-flown this week when 6MB produced a highly entertaining balloon debate! Amongst the passengers in this ill-fated ballon were Winston Churchill, Florence Nightingale, Jacques Montgolfier and Thomas Edison to name but a few. However, after making their pitch to remain in the balloon, all these eminent characters were rejected in favour of Posh and Becks!
