Some very trendy gear was in evidence in the Junior School at Burgess Hill School for Girls on Wednesday 16th May. It was Sixties day and the girls in Year 6 really entered into the spirit of things as did their form teachers, Mrs Brown and Mrs Walkinton.
Hippies, Mods and the occasional Rocker paraded down the catwalk much to the delight of the rest of the Junior School in the morning's assembly. Natasha Willson was the very witty and eloquent compere who kept proceedings flowing most professionally. We think we have a future TV presenter in our midst! Some staff were overheard saying – “I wore a mini skirt like that,” and “I've still got my cheese cloth shirt.”
