On Friday 25th May the Infants at Burgess Hill School for Girls received a special visit from singer and songwriter, Ashley Bruce. Mr Bruce, a parent of one of the girls present, performed his new song, ‘This is my country’, which will be sung by the finalists of ‘S Factor’, a talent competition for cubs, brownies and scouts. Mr Bruce is to be one of the judges in the competition. He has visited the School before and the girls love to be amongst the first to hear his new songs. He is keen to encourage children to take an interest in, and understand, music, and even to write their own songs. Mr Bruce’s first album will be released in July.
