Burgess Hill School for Girls continued their impressive run of form on the sports field, collecting four trophies at the West Sussex Tennis Tournament held at Christ’s Hospital. There were four other schools entered into the competition; Christ’s Hospital, Farlington, Millais and Ardingly. The competition was played in a round robin format. The U14 first and second pair girls played some excellent tennis winning all their matches. Overall the girls won 43 games and conceded only six games to become the West Sussex Champions.
The U15 first and second pair were also in fine form, winning all their matches comfortably. Overall they won 51 games and conceded only 4 games to also become the West Sussex Champions. An excellent achievement from both teams.
