The children from the Penguins Reception Class at Burgess Hill School for Girls celebrated their connections world wide by performing in an assembly for their parents and the Junior School. Many of the children in the class had family in places as far away as South America, India and China; Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England were also represented. The girls dressed in colourful costumes depicting their countries and talked about the different customs and festivals that they had been learning about throughout the year. The girls enjoyed saying 'hello' in different languages as well as counting in Spanish. The assembly ended with a moving prayer reminding us that we are all different, but very special children.
