The U15 Tennis Team continued their rich vein of form last week, playing some excellent tennis. In the early rounds of the competition they played Christ’s Hospital and Millais School, beating both schools three matches to 0 without losing a set. On the finals day held at St Bede’s school last week, the girls were in a determined mood to win the shield for the third time, and showed excellent strength of character by playing some attacking tennis which kept the pressure on their opponents. In the semi finals they beat Our Lady of Sion School, Worthing 3 matches to 0 to book a place in the final. By now the girls were psyched up for the match and overcame a lively Moira House side to win 3 matches to 0 again, to become the Sussex Shield Champions for the third consecutive year. An excellent achievement.
