The Junior School pupils at Burgess Hill School for Girls had great fun celebrating the birth of Robert Burns on Friday 25th January, by dressing up in an array of tartan outfits. The Burns House girls also organised a tombola as a means of raising funds for charity. In addition to learning a great deal about the poet, listening to Scottish songs and enjoying the opportunity to dress up, the girls were able to send more than £200 to one of their favourite charities, Cancer Research UK.
