Year 3 girls from Burgess Hill Girls School were totally immersed in the Roman way of life on Friday, 2nd May 2008. Dressed in full Roman attire and adorned with laurel wreaths and brooches which they made themselves, the girls became Roman schoolchildren for the day.
The girls have been studying the Romans this year so it was great fun carrying out a range of activities while sitting on cushions eating dates, grapes, olives and home made delicacies!
