On Friday 2nd May, Burgess Hill School for Girls held a special presentation for the Year 11 and Upper Sixth girls. They were encouraged to become active members of the Old Girls' Association by Katharine Ruff, a 1995 leaver, who is now Hon. Secretary of the OGA and Judy McKemey, a Burgess Hill Old Girls' Association Committee Member. Members of the Association help to organize various events where past pupils can meet up again, such as the 2006 Centenary Ball and Reunion BBQ. A reunion lunch is held every September when the Association holds its AGM.
At the end of the presentation the Old Girls' Award was presented to Natasha Best. This award is given to a member of the Upper Sixth each year. Nominated by her peer group, Natasha received the award in recognition of her caring and supportive contribution to the School Community. Natasha is pictured below between Katherine and Judy.
