Then on Friday the fun culminated in ‘Bad Hair Day’, which brought with it a wonderful show of weird and wonderful hair creations from the girls!   

Even the teachers needed very little encouragement to be outlandish in their hair styles – a rather motley crew were in attendance, with Dolly Parton warbling her way through hymn practice, Widow Twanky taking a Year 6 Maths lesson, and Mrs Brown (Deputy Head and Charity coordinator) sporting a stylish purple rinse!

The fourteen girls in our Penguins class were thrilled to learn that they alone had raised £87. There are lots of coins still to be counted but we hope to have raised a lot of money for this very worthy cause.
