In a hard fought contest the Burgess Hill School for Girls Junior School Inter-House Sports Day was a great success. All girls from Year 3 through to Year 6 took part with great enthusiasm and spirit, gaining points for their house. There were track and field events running throughout the afternoon and all the events were followed closely by the spectators.

The girls in Yeats house were the overall winners and were presented with a trophy for their efforts. There are four houses at Burgess Hill School for Girls; points gained from any event or project the girls are involved in, go towards the end of year Merit Mark Cup, a highly prized item of silverware!
