Burgess Hill School for Girls were delighted to welcome Mr Michel Ravaudet as their new Head Chef this November after an extensive selection process which lasted more than four months and included a cook-off competition. Particular favourites on the new menu are Cuban chicken, Beef Bourguignon, Herby chicken casserole and Tortillas.
Michel was trained as a pastry chef in France and has worked in a number of prestigious London Hotels. Most recently he was a Head Chef in Baxterstorey Catering where he regularly catered for 650 on a daily basis. He is already establishing his own style, and is focusing more and more on fresh homemade food from local suppliers.
The previous Catering Manager, Mrs. Viv Lobo, retired after a wonderful 9 years in the role and recently enjoyed a farewell dinner with staff.
