Year 3 from Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed an exciting day out at Wakehurst Place on 24th June 2008. The purpose of the visit was to reinforce the work that they had covered during their Science lessons on “Helping plants grow well”. The group took part in activities that included comparing flora in different environments, ephemeral art and a healthy plant trail. By the end of the day a slightly tired, but very happy, year group returned to school.
