Paddington Bear has played an integral part in 2TP’s classroom. Every weekend one of the girls in the class who has been hard working, polite and caring is given the opportunity to take Paddington home and write his diary for him. This year he has watched polo, been horse riding, attended dance classes, visited many local historical sites and traveled across Europe!
To mark his 50th birthday, the girls in 2TP used the Digital Blue cameras to create their own stop-motion Paddington animations which were premiered in their class assembly on Wednesday June 25th in front of a captivated audience of parents, pupils and staff. The celebrations continued throughout the day accompanied by marmalade sandwiches and marmalade cake all whilst dressed in Paddington’s ubiquitous Wellington boots, duffle coats and floppy hats. 2TP and form teacher, Mrs Pearson-Rujas, certainly knows how to celebrate a birthday.
