On Saturday 16th September 2006, the Burgess Hill School Old Girls' Association held a Centenary Reunion in the School grounds where a new skylark water feature marks the Centenary.
The sculpture of the bird was designed by members of the Old Girls' committee. The water feature was unveiled by an ex pupil who was the Head Girl of the School in 1976, Ann Clifton née Boocock. Her daughter, who is a current pupil, assisted her mother during the unveiling ceremony. Guests included Old Girls, Current Staff, Governors and the Sixth Form.
This marks the continued celebrations of the School's Centenary which will be completed by a Carol Service in December.
