Following writing to their Grandparents asking about their favourite, childhood toys, the Reception Classes from Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed their trip to Hove Museum. They were introduced to toys from one hundred years ago and compared them to their modern day toys. During the workshop they made their own versions of a "cup and ball", having looked at a similar toy from the Nineteenth Century. There was great excitement as they explored the childhood room, packed full of toys from years ago, whilst the "Sleeping Wizard" snored on oblivious to the enthusiastic children. The adults also reminisced about their own childhood toys.
