Students, staff and parents from Burgess Hill School for Girls have been working hard to produce a sparking collection of over 300 large stars to decorate the main hall of the Triangle leisure centre in Burgess Hill for their Christmas Carol Concert on Thursday 14th December, the finale of the School's centenary year.
Head of Art, Mrs. Monica Carruthers, praised everyone for joining in this whole school project with such enthusiasm, and for making this last event of the year extra special. “Everyone gave up their time, working at home, during lunch time and after school to create this incredibly impressive display – the whole school has been covered in a layer of glitter for weeks!” The stars varied in style, colour and texture, and prizes were given for the best stars in each year group.
