On Wednesday 13th December Senior Citizens from the local community enjoyed an afternoon of tea, conversation and musical entertainment at the annual Christmas Tea Party organised and hosted by Year 11 pupils of Burgess Hill School for Girls. 

The guests were greeted by the girls who served tea and mince-pies whilst the School’s jazz band provided the background music. The audience were then treated to a varied programme devised and performed by the girls, which included ballet, piano and violin duets, songs from the 1940’s and Christmas carols.

On their departure the guests thanked the girls for providing a most entertaining and enjoyable afternoon.
