There may have been ten lords a-leaping but another 140 Junior School pupils from Burgess Hill School for Girls also took to the stage, dancing and singing in their colourful, musical Christmas production of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' on Wednesday 13th December. There were many spectacular scenes with every pupil from Years 3 to 6 included in the production which was directed by the Junior School’s Head of Music, Julie Playford.

The girls performed to two wonderfully appreciative audiences, one with grandparents and invited guests, including our friends from Manor Court Sheltered Housing Accommodation in Junction Road, and the other to parents.  

Each performance ended in rapturous applause and a stage full of feathers from our moulting geese a-laying, swans a-swimming, French hens and turtle doves!
