September 17th looked bright and cheery and so did the year 6 and 7s as they enthusiastically dashed around the school and grounds tracking down the answers to mathematical questions.

There were some tough puzzling to do and the competition was fierce.  The results were very close with only one point between the winners and the runners up.

The winning team were Georgina Nathan and Polly Chamberlain Webber, both Year 6 and Maddison Hayes, Nikita Khandwala and Emily Ashenden from Year 7.

The runners up were Olivia Dowden and Amelia Jenkins in Year 6 and Rosanna Nichols, Sophia Davies and Tash Hoile from Year 7.

Third place went to Sasa Lazarus, Florence Thompson,  Alicia Critchley, Lizzie Sykes and Emily McQuillin.

Organiser and Maths teacher Lynn Woroniecki said “Congratulations to all who took part!”
