Runners from Burgess Hill School for Girls are celebrating after running in the Mid Sussex Schools Championships.

The four year groups, from Year 8 to Year 11 were victorious as they each won the cross country race for their age group. The Year 7 girls also ran well and took third place.

Six girls from the school ran exceptionally well and finished within the top three runners in their race. Thirteen members of the cross country team willgo on to runfor Mid Sussexin the Sussex Schools Championships.
