With Christmas approaching it was party time for the Sixth Form students at Burgess Hill School for Girls on Monday 14th December.
The girls planned and organised their own festivities to celebrate the end of a great term, and the coming holidays.
Fancy dress was the theme, and many girls went to great lengths to create their outfits. The costumes included Mary, Joseph and a whole Nativity scene, including donkeys and sheep. There were even some girls dressed as Christmas presents, although eating, drinking, and fitting through small gaps did prove awkward for some of the larger ones (presents, that is!)
Everyone had a lot of fun playing pass the parcel, pin the nose on Rudolph and a variety of other party games.
Tim Butterworth, Head of the Sixth Form said “Many thanks to the School Officers and everyone who helped to decorate the room and organise the event.”
