Flamingos, gazelles and lions were on the rampage at Burgess Hill School for Girls on Monday 18th January, with monkeys and birds of prey for good measure!

Year 6 pupils were treated to a Lion King dance workshop led by Miss Vikki Harris, Principal of the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School.  The afternoon was spent creating wildlife characters and learning how to move as an animal.

The workshop culminated in group routines which involved all the pupils and taught them co-operation and dramatic presentation.

“It was amazing,” commented an excited Sophie Hodgson, “I really felt as if I was in Africa roaming the Plains!”
