On the 7^th of June, a group of Boarders went over to the South of England Show. We actually did not have much idea about what to expect. When we first arrived, all we could see was a huge green field; we smelt the freshness of cut grass and sweet hay; tinged with... well, let’s say we later discovered it was left by the animals!

Most people like weekends, the Boarders do as well. What we do on Saturdays is kind of special to me. Maybe it is because I am quite new to the country so there are a lot of places in this country I haven’t visited before. To me, living in a totally different country with a totally different culture is quite exciting.

Early rise!  All of the boarders had to be in Silverdale for 9:00 for the hour coach trip to Thorpe Park led by Miss Peskett, Stephanie and Ash! Everyone was tired but extremely excited to be going. The sun was beaming through the clouds so you could tell it was going to be a nice day.
