Major projects and developments are carried out each year to ensure the school looks and feels safe, modern and well equipped for learning in the twenty-first century.
During the summer holiday this year (July and August 2011) new building and services works have taken place.
Littlecroft building has received an external refurbishment carried out by our maintenance staff.

A brand new 'state of the art' lighting and sound system has been installed in the Croft Hall. The equipment will allow pupils and staff to explore the use of digital media in a high quality environment for performance, presentation, assembly and many other events.
Security has been increased to the southern side of the school where a new fence and gates have been installed. Access through the new pedestrian gate will be automated and linked to the security system.

There have been major works carried out for the school internet and wireless access and new laptops have been purchased for classrooms while the Senior music classroom has new Apple Mac desktops installed for music lessons.
This summer two of our Junior School classrooms have been redecorated and the tennis court has been cleaned and repainted.
This year we also have purchased an additional mini bus to add to our fleet.

Developements in 2009
In 2009 our new chemistry rooms, prep room and chemical store were built and opened in September 2009. The new facilities provide separate areas for practical work and teaching within one room. Both rooms are fully equipped and include large fume cupboards and interactive smartboards. They were officially opened on Tuesday 9th March 2010 by Dr Hal from ITV's children's programme Ministry of Mayhem.
The Junior School play area continues to develop from year to year. Last summer a new adventure log trail and outdoor classroom were installed for September 2010.

Developements in 2008
The new accommodation for the Nursery & Infant departments was completed during the Autumn Term 2008. It was officially opened on the 25th of November 2008.

The building has three large nursery classrooms on the lower ground floor and a Hall, library area and a further six classrooms for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, on the upper level. Each Infant classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards and all rooms have access to outdoor play areas to facilitate the very best practice in Early Years education.
