With high standards in every area of the curriculum and extra curricular field, the School facilitates and encourages the girls to strive for excellence wherever their talents may lie and to seek to expand their experiences by taking the opportunities available to them.

The girls reap the benefits of being inquisitive and using their creativity and initiative and their achievements are applauded.  As they progress through the Senior School, their increasing maturity, enthusiasm and rich experience combine to reveal a pleasing level of responsibility and independence.

The School has excellent resources. All curriculum areas are well served with appropriate specialist accommodation in Art, Drama, Music, Media, PE, Science, Technology and Textiles.

The girls follow a broad common curriculum in Years 7 - 9 supported by a carefully considered homework programme. Details are set out in curriculum booklets - Years 7, 8, & 9, Years 10 & 11, and The Sixth Form. These booklets are available on request.

Extra-curricular activities give every girl wonderful opportunities to explore her own talents and develop her individual skills to her full potential. We believe that education is about giving young people the chance to be successful in as wide a range of areas as possible, and to feel a sense of pride in their achievements.

Guidance and advice is available to all age groups with formal advice starting in Year 9.
