At lunch we’ve got everything, from nice cooks to a delicious meal. We have our lunch provided and a brilliant choice: on one day we have roast, another fish and chips, one day it’s curry, another it’s pasta and lastly a free choice. The puddings are delicious with lots of choice and there’s loads of places to sit in the dining room.

Burgess Hill School for Girls has a lot of activities on offer, along with superb facilities and excellent teaching available to all. There are many extra-curricular activities for all ages ranging from Chinese lessons to Orchestra and Hockey. There is guaranteed to be something to suit everyone. The school also offers many trips and outings, for leisure and educational purposes. These are great to participate in, as you make lots of new friends and learn new skills.

I knew staying on into the Sixth Form would be the best option for me. I’ve been at the school since Year 3 and when it came to making my final decision, I knew I couldn’t leave.

My life at school as a boarder is very enjoyable. The school is a friendly environment and I feel at home here. I always have someone to talk to. When I first entered the boarding community, everybody was so kind, asking whether I had any questions or queries.
