Burgess Hill School for Girls' Rounders Team took part in the West Sussex Tournament held at Hazlewick School, Crawley.


Eco-School

Burgess Hill School for Girls has achieved the Bronze level in its quest to achieve the coveted green flag status.


Global Concerns

Year 5 at Burgess Hill School for Girls entered a competition instigated by local Conservative MP, Mr Tim Loughton.  Each girl was asked to design and produce a pamphlet that expressed her concern about global issues.


Athletics Success

Burgess Hill School for Girls' U12 Athletics Team took part in the North Sussex Area Competition held at Sackville School, East Grinstead.


Sussex Shield Champions

Burgess Hill School for Girls' Tennis team took part in the Sussex Shield competition.


Regional Finals

Burgess Hill School for Girls' Junior Athletics team took part in the Regional 'A' finals held Ashford.


Double Success!

Burgess Hill School for Girls teams triumphed at the Sussex round of the Track and Field Schools Cup.


Young Enterprise 2006

In September 2005, 23 Lower Sixth students at the Burgess Hill School for Girls formed two Young Enterprise companies and have spent months experiencing the highs and lows of running a small business, guided by their link teachers and local business advisors.

As part of their Geography study of tropical rainforests, Year 5 girls at Burgess Hill School for Girls wrote to a number of influential VIPs to express their concern about deforestation and the implications it has for global warming.
