Year 6 Charity Afternoon

"We raised £1012 at our Year 6 Fun Afternoon for Charity" beamed  Amy Scott, a very pleased Charity prefect from the Junior School at Burgess Hill School for Girls. The girls and their parents worked very hard to produce a fun packed afternoon for the rest of the Junior School to enjoy.

Founders' Day

On Tuesday 10th July Burgess Hill School for Girls celebrated the end of term with their annual Founders' Day, an event which is always both good fun and a reminder of the achievements of the past academic year.

Butterfly Season

Following the successful hatching of their class butterflies, the Penguins Reception Class at Burgess Hill School for Girls enjoyed dressing up as butterflies for the day.

Joseph performance

The Year 6 end of the Junior School celebrations culminated in a very slick performance of 'Joseph' on Wednesday evening.

Shades Day

Regardless of the torrential rain and cold winds we have all been experiencing lately, the Junior School pupils at Burgess Hill School for Girls have been sporting sunglasses, sun hats and visors all in aid of a very good cause.

Pedal Power

Burgess Hill School Nursery children have once again turned to 'pedal power' to raise money for the charity Childline.

Family Fun Day

On Saturday 7th July Burgess Hill School for Girls hosted a hugely successful Family Fun Day in their grounds, raising money for the very deserving cause of the Sussex Air Ambulance. 1300 visitors attended the spectacular event which had an array of activities on offer for all ages.

West Sussex Rounders Champions

The talented Year 8 pupils from Burgess Hill School for Girls continued their run of wins when they took part in the West Sussex Rounders Tournament held at Hazelwick School, Crawley.

Sussex Shield Champions

The U15 Tennis Team continued their rich vein of form last week, playing some excellent tennis.  In the early rounds of the competition they played Christ's Hospital and Millais School, beating both schools three matches to 0 without losing a set.
