Elizabeth Burgess, an old girl and former music scholar of Burgess Hill School for Girls made her debut appearance at the Wigmore Hall in London on Monday 24^th May accompanying baritone Marcus Farnsworth.

At 6.15am on Monday 10^th May 2010, Year 6 excitedly set off from school to go to Brancaster Staithe, North Norfolk.

Junior School pupils at Burgess Hill School for Girls were once again invited to enter the popular Burgess Hill and District Rotary Club annual Art and Poetry Competition, which is open to children from primary schools in the area.

Pupils from Burgess Hill School for Girls had a successful weekend after winning numerous prizes at the first Lindfield Arts Festival which took place from Friday 14^th to Sunday 16^th May throughout Lindfield village.

From the 10^th to 14^th of May, class 7D from Burgess Hill School for Girls operated a car wash service to raise money for the School�s charities, which include Missing People and the Quicken Trust.

The Junior and Intermediate athletics teams from Burgess Hill School for Girls took part in the Sussex Round of the English Schools Track and Field Cup Competition, held at K2, Crawley.

P.E. teachers Deleece Tapping and Suzy Clapp from Burgess Hill School for Girls completed the tough 106 mile South Downs Way Bike Ride last weekend.

The pupils and staff of Burgess Hill School for Girls gathered on the grass to say farewell to their retiring Head Girl on Wednesday 12^th May.

Infants at Burgess Hill School for Girls are so proud of their robot!  The girls brought in old toys that they no longer needed at home and used them to create an eco-robot for the Lindfield Arts Festival.

Under the shadow of looming general elections we were lucky enough to invite Emily Benn, granddaughter of the renowned Anthony Benn, to speak to the Sixth Form about her experience as a 20 year old Labour candidate for the Shoreham and East Worthing constituency.
