The Sixth Form
Extra Curricular Activities


  • Music: full orchestra, choir, jazz group and numerous ensemble groups. 
  • Drama: several school productions per year with Worth School (Boys' Independent School), Inter-House Performing Arts Festival annually and Drama Club. 
  • Sport: squads and teams in all major sports. Opportunities to compete for County Squads in Hockey, Netball, Tennis, Cricket, Rounders, Volleyball, Golf, Swimming and Riding. 
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
  • House System with numerous Inter-House events - General Knowledge Quiz, Sports, Performing Arts, etc. 
  • School Officer System
  • Strong emphasis on involvement in running the School where the Sixth Form:

    - run the House System

    - organise social activities including the Sixth Form Ball

    - produce the School Magazine

    - lead the School Council

    - participate in marketing the School

    - participate in the day to day organisation of the Nursery, Junior School and Senior School, including the running of clubs and other activities for younger girls.

  • All students are encouraged to participate in school trips and a range of other activities. Recent opportunities include the annual ski trip, Business and Economics trip to New York, a classical tour of Greece, several theatre trips, Psychology trip to a local Crown Court (observed a murder trial), a Drama tour in the USA and a Sporting Tour in Canada.

  • Community involvement such as a paired reading scheme in local Junior School and OUTSET volunteers.
