Plastic Bags with Attitude!
We are all being encouraged to use fewer plastic bags to reduce environmental pollution. Three Year 9 friends from Burgess Hill School for Girls and St Paul's Catholic College have come up with a new use for plastic bags.
This creative team joined together and designed and createdan innovative outfit using a striking combination of black bin bags and Sainsbury's carrier bags.
The outfit will be worn at the 'Fashion Show with a Conscience' which forms part of the Lindfield Arts Festival on Saturday 15th May.
All three girls helped in the manufacture of the outfit. TheTutu styled skirt required squares of plastic to be pushed through a piece of net and then secured with a few stitches. The hat and top were made using black bin bags and net.
