Junior School Science Week
Even the Headmistress of the Junior School at Burgess Hill School for Girls was drawn in to the excitement of Science Week. The girls were challenged to construct a one metre tower using only 20 straws and Sellotape. This activity was one of the many lively, hands on investigations that the whole Junior School pursued during the week. In a packed programme of activities the girls explored chromatography, nutrition healthy living, habitats and forces.
Plunging their hands into slimy substances proved to be great fun as did the Magic Man show that finished the week off with a bang!
