Fairtrade Leaflet praised and adopted
A leaflet designed by two students at Burgess Hill School for Girls impressed the Burgess Hill Fairtrade Committee with its high standard and led to its adoption as the official publication supporting Burgess Hill in its aim to become a Fairtrade town. Two Year 10 pupils produced the leaflet which is now available from the Town Council Help Point and the Library as part of a school competition involving Humanity and Technology Faculties. Mr Burbidge the School Technology Teacher and one of the Burgess Hill Fairtrade Committee founder members, who organised the School involvement with the Town’s Fairtrade activity said, “I am very impressed with the professional looking publication the girls have produced. It will really help raise awareness of this important cause.”
