2005 - 2006 Burgess Hill School for Girls' Junior Athletics team took part in the Regional 'A' finals held at Ashford. The girls had trained very hard and this was evident in the many excellent performances on the track and strong performances in the field events with many athletes achieving personal bests. With 350 points the team were placed fourth in the South East Region.
The Intermediate team travelled to Barnet to participate in the Regional 'B' final and in track and field events achieved many personal best performances coming 4th overall with 295 points. Suzie Clapp, Burgess Hill School's Head of PE, congratulated all the girls for having reached the South East Round of the National Track and Field Cup.
